Range & Status
Recently (2008) described as a new species. Recorded from Phoenix United Mine SSSI at Minions on Bodmin Moor (2002), one of only three known sites in Britain. It is a calcifuge species colonising dry mats of moss in recesses below granite boulders. Only a very small population is present at the above site which is extremely vulnerable to scrub clearance or disturbance.
