Range & Status

Very rarely found, 80mm length, parasitic upon the Thornback Ray Raja clavata and the Starry Ray Raja radiata . Only recorded in Britain from the Plymouth area and the south coast of Cornwall; elsewhere known from Roscoff (Brittany) and from around Capri.
