Range & Status

Little is known about the habitat requirements of this species. It seems to occur at the interface of the bedrock and the surrounding gravel in depths between 25-80m. Rarely recorded, it is known from the south coast of Devon (Salcombe), Lundy, the Channel Islands and the Plymouth area.
