Amphilectus lobatus



Range & Status

Invariably found on seaweeds, hydroids or erect bryozoans in the infralittoral zone to

100+m depth, usually associated with strong tidal flows. A most uncommon sponge, rarely recorded from Devon, north-west and south-west Wales, Northern Ireland, the west coast of Scotland and more recently from Cornwall.
