Range & Status
An uncommon species nationally with scattered records from most of the British Isles.
Regional Distribution
Recorded from all five inhabited islands in the Isles of Scilly (Jones & Pratley, 1987), and one site on mainland Cornwall, Loe Pool near Porthleven.
Habitat & Ecology
Found in a variety of ruderal habitats including around old farm buildings and dung
heaps.
Threats
None known.
Conservation
Loe Pool is managed by the National Trust. The sites on the Isles of Scilly are within areas designated for nature conservation.
