Range & Status

Found at low water sublittorally and on weeds and under stones (Graham, 1988). A

southern species found from the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean northwards to the south coast of Ireland and to the English Channel. In Britain, living specimens have been found in SA15, SA16, SA17, SA18/VC1/VC2 and SA19/IOS.
