Range & Status

Widely distributed in southern England becoming scarcer further north. There are

numerous pre-1967 records for Cornwall but only two post-1980 sites: Loggan' s Moor (a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve) 2003 and the Isles of Scilly (2003). It is known from several islands in the archipelago; heathland on St. Agnes and at various coastal and inland sites on St. Mary' s.
