Discodoris rosi



Range & Status

First discovered, and only known in Britain from the Isles of Scilly where it was found in October 2008. It was found at two sites, Dry Ledge, near Toll' s Island and Peter Rock feeding on Oaten Pipes Tubularia indivisa and other hydroids at a depth of about 20m. Only recently (1979) described, from Galicia in north-west Spain. It has also been recorded from a few scattered sites in the Mediterranean Sea, and along the Atlantic coasts of Spain and France as far north as Belle-Ile in Southern Brittany.
