Range & Status

Found on large,decayed, fallen trunks of a variety of deciduous trees in old woodland.

Most often collected from Sycamore Acer pseudoplatanus and Beech Fagus sylvatica . Recorded from about nine English counties and, more recently (2008), from woodland near Bodmin Parkway railway station.
