Range & Status

Found amongst dredged algae on coarse or fine sediments, or in honeycombed stones such as clinker, in the sublittoral zone to depths of 70m. It has been recorded from the west coast of Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the south coasts of Cornwall and Devon. It appears to be relatively common in the Falmouth Bay area.
