Pseudospinolia neglecta



Range & Status

A rare species with records from Cornwall to Kent and north to Norfolk and North Wales. A cleptoparasitic species, on the host wasp Odynerus spinipes , it is associated with vertical faces of hard earth on maritime cliffs and slopes. There are a few older Cornish records and a single post-1980 record from the south-east coast of Cornwall.
