Range & Status

Found sporadically on upland moors throughout Britain.

Regional Distribution

No recent records for Cornwall, where it was last recorded in 1906. May be overlooked in mistake for Myrmica scabrinodis (Pontin, 2005), which is widespread in suitable habitat in Cornwall.
