Range & Status

Only known from old records in Cornwall and a 1990 record from Hampshire.

Regional Distribution

Recorded near Padstow (1902) and St. Merryn (1905).The latter was said to be a marshy hollow near a common, but this is now destroyed.

Habitat & Ecology

Ecology not known, but likely to be aquatic or a seepage specialist.

Threats

Drainage improvement works, water abstraction, and development.

Conservation

None possible until a new site is discovered.
