Achaeus cranchii - Cranch's Spider Crab



Range & Status

An offshore species living on hydroids, bryozoans, ascidians and occasionally on the

undersides of raised boulders in 5-70m depth of water. West coasts of Britain and Ireland only, quite rare elsewhere. South to west Africa, the Azores and the Mediterranean.
