Monodaeus couchi - Couch's Crab



Range & Status

On sandy mud and gravel in depths of 20-120m of water. Rare on south and west coasts of the British Isles extending from Shetland through to the south coast of Cornwall. Also on the west coast of Ireland. Most records are from the Irish Sea area. Elsewhere south to the Azores and the Mediterranean.
