Hemibdella solae



Range & Status

Length 10mm, found attached by its hind sucker to the spine of the ctenoid scale of the Sole Solea solea . Relatively common on occasions on its host in Cornish waters, but generally quite rare around the British Isles; its range extends south to the Mediterranean.
