Cladophora pygmaea



Range & Status

A tiny (1-3mm) much-branched filamentous alga found on mobile substrata in the subtidal zone of wave-exposed shores. In the British Isles C. pygmaea has only been recorded on a few occasions from Shetland, Hebrides, Isles of Scilly, Milford Haven (South Wales) and about six Irish counties.
