Range & Status

Fretter & Graham (1981) state its taxonomic status must remain in doubt until more is known. Recorded from western Europe to southern Britain. In Britain, living specimens are only known from the Isles of Scilly and recently from SA17 (the Channel Islands); otherwise known only from shells in SA21.
