Range & Status

On steeply inclined to vertical rock faces on moderately and fully exposed headlands on the open coast. The voucher specimen for this species is from Porthquin, north Cornwall. A southern and south-western species in the British Isles, it has recently also been recorded from around various islands on the west coast of England, including the Isles of Scilly. Elsewhere known from south Devon, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, south-west and north-west Wales and south-west Ireland.
