Palinurus mauritanicus - Moroccan Crawfish



Range & Status

A deep water visitor to the Cornish coastline, where one or two specimens are caught at intervals of every few years. Sometimes taken with the Common Crawfish Palinurus elephas off the coast of south-west Ireland and from South Wales. Elsewhere south to Senegal and the Mediterranean.
