b> Range & Status

On acidic soil in mixed woodland of Birch Betula spp. and Scots Pine Pinus sylvestris . Rare and perhaps confined to Scottish woodland, although there are a few, unsubstantiated, English records, and an unsubstantiated Cornish record for Ladock Wood (1993).
