Range & Status
Found attached to various algae, such as Halidrys siliquosa and Laminaria species, on the lower shore and in the shallow sublittoral. Considered by Hincks (1880) to be a relatively common species on the shoreline between Plymouth and Penzance, there have been no 20th century records; however, it has recently been reported from the coast of Brittany.
