Range & Status
A rarely recorded species found attached to Eelgrass Zostera spp. from ELWS to about 10m depth of water. The more recent records have all come from the south coast of Britain. Following a period of disease and deterioration in Zostera spp., the beds are recovering and showing signs of expansion which should be favourable for Laomedia angulata and other surface fauna and flora.
