Range & Status
An offshore species occurring in muddy sand-gravel in 40-50m depth of water. It is rarely recorded. It is known from Shetland and the Isle of Man, and southwards to the Azores and the Mediterranean. Two older records on the ' Rame-Eddystone grounds' in east Cornwall and a more recent record (1983) in Falmouth Bay.
