Trichoniscoides saeroeensis



Range & Status

First recorded from the British Isles in 1966 and has since been found to be widespread all around the coast.

Regional Distribution

Although not recorded from south-east Cornwall it is widespread around the coast of

Cornwall and occurs on the Isles of Scilly. Records are from: Land' s End and Lamorna areas; Portheras Cove on the Penwith peninsula; Gwithian and Godrevy in St. Ives Bay; Wheal Coates; Predannack Wollas, Kynance Cove and Gew Graze on The Lizard; St. Just-in-Roseland; Chipman Cliff near the Dizzard on the north coast; and St. Mary' s, Gugh and Nornour on the Isles of Scilly.

Habitat & Ecology

Found in the splash zone of the seashore, under stones in damp, but not wet soil.

Threats

None known.
