Range & Status
Formerly widespread in Britain but has become increasingly scarce, and has only recently been reported from the south coast.
Regional Distribution
In west Cornwall pre-1970.
Habitat & Ecology
Feeds on Spear Thistle Cirsium vulgare and Musk Thistle Carduus nutans . A very
unpredictable species.
