Acartauchenius scurrilis



Range & Status

Recorded from a few sites in south-west Britain.

Regional Distribution

Found in two 10km squares at Rame Head and Kynance Cove (Merritt, 1990).

Habitat & Ecology

Occurs in dry heathland and coastal grassland, in association with the ant Tetramorium caespitum which is widespread in Cornwall.

Threats

Loss of heathland.

Conservation

Kynance Cove is within the National Nature Reserve.
