Calvadosia campanulata - A stalked jellyfish



Range & Status

Found on the lower shore and in the shallow sublittoral zone of rocky shores. Commonly on algae and Eelgrass Zostera spp. on south and west shores of Britain. Relatively common in certain years around certain parts of the Cornish coastline such as Falmouth Bay. It is on the UK List of Priority Species.
