Andrena falsifica - A solitary mining bee



Range & Status

Found on heathland and calcareous sites in southern England and Wales. There are

only a small number of records for Cornwall of which only two are post-1980, from Erisey on the Lizard Peninsula and, more recently, Port Gaverne neat Port Isaac on the north coast.
