Tremella versicolor



Range & Status

A parasitic species on the hymenium of Peniophora spp. Rarely reported or collected

and, in fact, ' forgotten' for over a century, with several early and recent records, but none between 1895 and 1996. Two early records for Cornwall and a recent record, parasitising Peniophora lycii on Wild Privet Ligustrum vulgare , at Gear Sands near Perranporth (2000).
