Range & Status

The main habitat of this species is on soil in unimproved grassland such as occurs in old lawns (Trelowarren and Lanhydrock estates), grassy meadows, pastures and churchyards. There are at least 12 post-1980 Cornish sites for this former BAP species, for which Britain is a stronghold with international responsibility.
