Range & Status
Occurs mainly in southern England, but north to Yorkshire and Wales.
Regional Distribution
Recorded from Lerryn Creek, Ethy Wood in 1983.
Habitat & Ecology
Associated with damp lowland woodland and carr; the larvae develop in fungi.
Threats
Drainage (including the lowering of water table by extraction) and afforestation.
Conservation
The Cornish site is on National Trust land.
