Range & Status

Found sub-littorally, on non-living solid substrates such as stones, shells and sandy

bottoms, down to 100m. Around the British Isles it is known from the Wash, north Norfolk, parts of the southern North Sea and once near Portsmouth. It has also been recorded from the Isles of Scilly.
