Range & Status
Occurs in muddy bottoms at 70-700m. This is a southern species occurring from the
Mediterranean to south-west Britain and Ireland. Specimens have been found off southwest Ireland, the Isles of Scilly and in St. George' s Channel, less than twenty in all and hardly any recently.
