Medicago sativa subsp. falcata - Sickle Medick



Range & Status

Native. Eurosiberian Boreo-temperate plant. Native in East Anglia, and widely naturalised elsewhere.

Regional Distribution

In Cornwall it is outside its native range. It occurs in Bude (SS20) and may well still occur at Gulval (SW43) and Hayle (SW53).

Habitat & Ecology

Grows on a sand-dune beside a car park, where it is considered to be a pure population (A.C. Leslie, teste P.R.Green).

Threats

None apparent.

Conservation

The known site is not protected.
