Balclutha saltuella - A leafhopper



Range & Status

Discovered new to Britain on Tresco in 1992 (Ashmole & Ashmole, 1995).

Regional Distribution

Only known from Piper' s Hole on Tresco, where it was found in a granitic cave.

Habitat & Ecology

Normally found in grass tussocks.

Threats

Difficult to assess until more is known about the population locally.

Conservation

None.
