Range & Status
Mainly central and southern Europe. In Britain, mostly southern and eastern England. This is an occasional migrant that can become temporarily established (Emmet, 1996).
Recorded at light at Murrayton, near Looe (1995) and Gwavas (2001), but not necessarily permanently resident here.
Habitat & Ecology
Larvae feed on Willows Salix spp.
