Range & Status

Widespread in southern Britain, however it was first recorded from Cornwall as recently as 1977.

Regional Distribution

To date found only on Tresco on the Isles of Scilly, at Trelowarren and Tehidy Woods in West Cornwall, at Boconnoc and near Sheviock Woods in the east, with no new records since 1992.

Habitat & Ecology

Cornish records have all been from woodland, in damp leaf litter or decaying wood.

Threats

None known.

Conservation

Several sites are designated for nature conservation.
